Expanding economic opportunities for women

We empower women with the knowledge and skills necessary to earn an income and break into higher-paying jobs sectors through schooling, entrepreneurship, vocational training, and scholarships. We overcome the constraints that women entrepreneurs face in the workplace by offering networking opportunities, mentoring, access to knowledge and credit, and business management training. We cultivate environments where women can lobby for improved policies by collaborating with local partners.

Enhancing the rights and protection of women

We collaborate with individuals and societies to shift the standards that promote gender-based abuse and female exploitation. We collaborate with governments and civil society to reform policies, regulatory processes, and other response mechanisms in order to enhance access to justice and service delivery.

Through our policies and institutional processes, we are committed to advancing gender equality. PROJECT SHE acknowledges the value of gender-responsive agreements and, through the Gender Smart Initiative, integrates gender analyses into project and programme design, execution, and evaluation.
